MANDT (DDA)
Approximately 10-12 hours for initial certification
The Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) uses The Mandt System as the approved behavioral support training program. This program meets the requirements of COMAR 10.22.10.04 as it addresses clinically appropriate methodologies to prevent, de-escalate, and if necessary, physically intervene when the individual’s behavior poses a threat of harm to themselves or others.
By completing this nine-course training package, you will meet the COMAR requirement to be employed as a direct support professional under Maryland’s DDA regulations.
